We were looking for a diner and pulled up a few to review. After thorough perusal of the menus we decided upon East Penn. The first impression was great from parking lot to rest rooms. The menu was appealing and the prices the best we've seen on this trip. And our meal, breakfast, delivered nicely. Orange marmalade for my toast! Finally, this is a local business and we've started paying cash as often as possible. Give East Penn Diner a try!

Stopped here after a long day for a quick bite. Saw that they had a special of braised short ribs for $12. It was absolutely phenomenal. So tender and flavorful. The dinner came with a cup of soup, trip to the really nice salad bar, choice of a side, AND a choice of pudding or jello for dessert. Seriously can't beat it for the price. Everything was delicious, and the service matched. Will definitely be returning!

Our breakfast was subpar at best. My moms food was terrible and mine was pretty bad to. I’m used to diner bacon being crispy and this wasn’t. Strips were very small. Pancakes were almost hard. The home fries were probably the only bright spot of the day

Came here for breakfast a while ago and lunch today. Seriously, great food and service. The menu is large with a lot of options. You get a lot of good tasting food with what you order. I would recommend this diner to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat, good quality food for cheaper, or anyone just driving through Emmaus
