I came later in the afternoon close to their closing time, but was still able to donate blood. I am grateful for the opportunity to give back, and hope that I can make a small difference.

I just got home from being at this facility for 2 hours, even though I had an appointment. There are many improvements needed at this establishment. The good thing about it was the cleanliness of the staff. Everything was being wiped down throughly between donors and the chairs were all separated 6ft or more. Things to address: There is a sign at the door that says to wait outside but no one was at the front to check people in. Because I was seated next to the door, I had to tell 2 people to come in because the staff will not see them from outside and therefore, will not check them in. If no one is consistently at the front, the sign should go. The nurse who came to check me in had me fill out a survey and told me to come back to the front when I was done. I did as instructed but she never came back. After standing in the front for 15 minutes and making eye contact with other staff, the young man doing intake assisted me because he saw me waiting for a while without anyone helping me. I do not know how the order of people is taken care of but there should be a way to make it visual for the donors to see where they are in line. Many people who came after me were taken before me and were doing the same donation type as me. After intake, I sat in an area outside of the intake rooms for 15-20 minutes before the same young man doing intake took it upon himself to help me with my donation. He was doing so much on his own without help. Many of the other workers there went to a back room off of the main floor. The people working there are not a team and it is VERY evident. This establishment is very unorganized and the staff appear to know how to do their jobs but not how to operate efficiently. Primary roles should be established and enforced by management. The establishment was not understaffed today, so there is no reason to have one person performing all duties. I will never return to this donation center again. I only gave an extra star because the young man Isaac really was amazing and was trying to do all he could without much help. Get it together LifeStream

The person who withdrew my blood was excellent. The nurse who did my prework shared too much information and took too long. I was told I would be tested for Corona Virus antibodies and would receive the results in two days. I do have the portal and check daily and to date nothing has been updated. I gave blood six weeks ago. I regularly give blood at the Red Cross. I have given blood at Life Stream once before. Upon completion of my blood draw Life Stream told me I have type A+ blood and Red Cross has me at 0+. Life Stream was going to follow up and get back with me. That was 6 weeks ago. I have called and spoken to different people 5 different times and no one has yet to get back with me. I will never donate to Life Stream again. I will continue to donate with Red Cross. I feel Life-Stream doesn’t know their head from a hole in the ground. They probably lost my donation.

I donated at the new donor center in Murrieta. The facility was so clean and everyone was very welcoming. I want to give special thanks to Nina for getting me registered extremely fast! Scott took me back to screening and was very pleasant and made me feel 100% comfortable. Scott performed the blood draw and did a wonderful job! It was a painless and enjoyable experience :) I will definitely be coming back to the Murrieta center for frequent donations. Thank you to the staff for making this a great experience!! - Kayla Snyder

Hi Steve! Yes, LifeStream is testing all successful whole-blood donations for COVID-19 antibodies and the results are posted on the donor's private online donor account. For more info, please visit https://www.lstream.org/covid-19/antibodytesting/. Thank you!
