Desarie and her family are some of the nicest and most caring people we have ever met. They truly care about their dogs and will do anything they can to ensure a smooth transition to your home. The Kika's YouTube community created by Desarie is filled with loving AKK owners who all love to educate and support one another. Desarie is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to share her expertise in a variety of ways (her website, YouTube videos, Livestreams, emails, Instagram, etc). While we were on the wait list, we never felt forgotten about or misinformed. Desarie sent our litter announcements, updates from Kika, etc. If you are new to the wait-list or have been curious if the wait times are accurate, THEY ARE. So if you're not willing to wait for the perfect puppy, this might not be the fit for you. However, Desarie's dogs are unmatched. The dogs have gorgeous coats, are healthy and absolutely adorable. I cannot tell you how often we get stopped in public by strangers wanting to pet our dog or ask questions when we take our puppy out. These dogs will be your best friend, they're incredibly smart, and want to be with you every second. We couldn't ask for a better dog. Our Gordon is constantly complimented on his temperament and friendliness to people of all ages. My boyfriend and I could not have asked for a better experience, we felt involved, educated, supported and included from the very beginning. Once we knew which puppy we would be taking home, we were able to follow up with pictures since he was born, videos, and got to meet him on a video chat. Something we also found extremely important to recognize, Desarie and her family never once made us feel guilty on the day we got to take Gordon home. We were fearful, that as the breeder and family who'd been with him the past 8 weeks, they things like "we are sad to see you go". And I'm sure they were, but they didn't make us feel bad or hinder the experience of finally taking home our puppy, a day we had dreamt of for so long. Instead, they gave us an entire bag of goodies and information to take, welcomed us into their home and allowed us to ask any and all questions, and expressed excitement for us. To this day, Desarie follows up with Gordon every now and then, and we are actively apart of the AKK social media community. I have absolutely enjoyed my experience working with Desarie at Kika’s Klee Kai! Desarie is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and professional. She provides a live stream on YouTube every Thursday where you can seeing the latest puppy litters, ask her questions and chat with current Klee Kai owners. It something to look forward to every week! On her website, she provides all of her tips, tricks and suggestions about potting training, toys, leashes and much more! I was ready to receive my pup after reviewing her website inside and out. Pup are given to you at 8 weeks old. The advice doesn’t stop there, she is a willing resource if you ever need her after you pick up your puppy too! Just the best experience overall!

I highly recommend Kika’s Klee Kai to anyone looking for an Alaskan Klee Kai. Desarie is great and was very responsive and helpful through the entire process. Additionally, she hosts a weekly you tube live show to answer any questions and so you can see all the current puppies. When each set of puppies is offered to the waitlist, Kika’s Klee Kai provides a video and description of each puppy so that you can see each dog’s personality to ensure it will be a perfect fit. We picked up our new pup yesterday and couldn’t be more happy. So far the dog has great temperament and is adjusting nicely to her new home.

We had a great experience with Kika's Klee Kai. We love our new adorable puppy. She's the sweetest and came home socialized and ready to play with our older dog. The whole process went smooth, we were on the waitlist for almost 4 months but Desarie kept us updated with the live puppy cams. The only thing I had an issue with was her communication. She would take about 3-5 days to reply to our emails and would not answer phone calls but it is understandable since she is always busy. Apart from that, everything was great. When we picked up our puppy, she was helpful with any questions we had and gave us a small bag of the puppy's food with a blanket that smells like her house just in case the puppy gets anxiety during the night and a super cute squeaky toy with some other goodies and a little book with the puppy's shots and the microchip information. We recommend people to purchase from Kika's. She's great!
