Pass this place by. I have been a customer and have donated for many years. I was treated rudly Saturday. I was made to stand there while a young man went through my donations and pulled out what he "didn't want". It was a sack full of crafters rubber stamps. And a new puzzle for adults. He also pulled out a ball and told me to go throw it away. I would like to remind these people your not doing me a favor I was doing you a favor both by giving you things to sell and make money on but also by buying stuff for you to make money for your organization. Not any more!

I approached the entrance at 3:10 pm on Tuesday 10/8 and an employee came outside, stood at the door and I was denied entry. I told her that it’s too cold in the mornings and I need to buy a sweater for my daughter. I told her that I’d only be a couple of minutes, she refused to let us in. I respect the posted sign that says that one must hv their items on the counter by 3:15pm but it wasn’t 3:15 yet. All I needed was one sweater for my child. I even explained that the school bus drops off at 3:00, so I couldn’t make it there sooner. (I needed my daughter to be with me to try on the sweater.) I explained that we showed up on Saturday but they were closed due to the parade. They extended their 50% off to Tuesday (their next business day) so I was really looking forward to going on Tuesday but was denied entry. These stores are meant to help those in need, I’m a single mother and all I wanted was one sweater for my child. The time it took to explain the bus and the sweater situation, was sufficient to find one and pay but I was left outside. They should change their sign to say: closes at 3pm. God blesses me in many ways (including forgiving those that treat me this way) but not every employee there is the same. Some are helpful.

Very picky about donations that they accept. I went on a Monday and the lady rudely said they weren’t accepting donations, so I said okay and left. I called ahead on Wednesday and they said they were accepting them. I brought a box of home goods that had a little bit of dust on them from being in the garage. They said they could not accept them because they were dirty. They were a little dusty and could be wiped with a cloth. They are very rude and I will not donate or shop here again. The Assistant League one block away was a happy to accept my dusty items.

The staff at this store needs to be trained in customer relations. Very rude group of elderly people here. I brought in some donations, and the young woman - doing county service hours - wanted to cherry pick my donations, leaving the clothing behind. She said, "we are not accepting clothing." I told her to put the rest of it back and she got upset. Old people and people doing county service hours do not make for a warm and welcoming staff.

This is a donation place
They sell everything
It depends on the manager what is on sale for the day. Everything is on sale, half off, the 1s thru the 7th.
