I enjoyed my visit to Chili's but it's not the same as it used to be IMO. Maybe it's due to Covid, the economy or something else. The atmosphere was well, there really wasn't one but the staff were friendly and attentive. The food menu, though I was told was updated, seemed pretty much the same from the last time I had been in this location. The restaurant up North off of Powers definitely feels different and makes you feel more at home in their restaurant. Thanks for listening.

Cold (we were early and drove 1 minute across the road- literally) - nothing correct - not even silverware no ketchup - even tho both were ordered- 2 pieces of lettuce for their croutons … I mean salad… don’t even get me started whats in that corner of my “steak and fries”- rest of the order was wrong too! Called to ask them to remake it (cuz they would have if I ate there) but no they won’t- they will just give me credit coupons for later (WHY would I want to go back??) looks unappealing all around - was so bad my kids couldn’t eat - that “quesadilla “ is brisket by the way if you were thinking of ordering it - and that baby hamburger that looks like a burnt hockey puck tasted like one to. I mentioned we needed to eat tonight not next week - “oh I’m sorry it’s all I can do” is what the manager (starts with a j - ) said - oh I’m sure you would love that paying so much for food- Poor customer service - rude people - bad food- do NOT order here if you actually want to eat something - oh and extra anything … they didn’t even add to the bag- just charged us -

A lot of restaurants are understaffed right now. Even though there may be space available for more guests doesn't mean that there is service available for more guests. Like it or not, employees are human and do have limits on how much they can do at one time.
It depends on the burger. All burgers confer with fries but your can sub then for something else.
In this situation I would imagine it's because the host failed to communicate with you that your sever is really busy. Most host feel its better for you to be waiting at your table than to be waiting on your table. They usually don't understand that people are ready for service very shortly, if not immediately after being sat down. However, it's possible all of this was understood and the host just didn't feel like telling you the unfavorable information (that there is still going to be a wait after you sit down), just to avoid you possibly being mad at them. This way it seems like its the server fault and not theirs.
All staff wear masks and are operating with food using sanitizing stations placed around the floor of the restaurant. Additionally, they sanitize after every customer is finished with their meal and have restricted waiting to cars or outside the building to limit persons inside. Overall fantastic job, have been there multiple times!
