No adults allowed or the police will escort you. The colored folks have one corner of the park where they wont be bothered and whites get the rest of the park. Gotta love Colorado’s unwritten segregation laws, they’re Great!

It's an ok place. Seems to be more graffiti than before. The language of the kids there is quite vulgar so going is sketchy if you don't want your young kids, grandkids exposed to the language mostly teenagers use there. Not really any place yoy can keep the younger children away from it. No places to sit while trying to supervise.

We were here for the 1st time to attend the Labor Day Balloon Lift Off. This is a wonderful park! With the lake and mountains in the background, you couldn't ask for a better place in the City to walk, picnic, take photos, and just have a great time. Loved it!

The balloon festival was held here and it was amazing! There was plenty of room for food, bounce castles, people, etc. However, parking for such an event was quite a hassle! While there are several sites for parking, and handicapped, street parking was terrible unless it was over .8 miles.
