I've made 2 purchases from Goodland Guns both times the guys were very nice and helpful. I've been to other shops where the all male staff spoke down to me and were not helpful at all. I recommend this shop to any woman in the market for a gun.

Love this place, Daniel and Cooper are very informative and helpful. Purchased several items from this shop in the past few years. Great prices and if they don't have the item you're looking for they can order it for you. Dont be afraid to ask questions but at the same time follow their advice, dont go into any gun store trying to by a desert eagle or a kel-tek KSG for home defense and be upset when they recommend a glock 19 or something more practical for home defense. Just because you saw John Wick or Clint Eastwood use it doesn't mean you can use it efficiently or safely, especially inside a hallway in your house (try an indoor shooting range, your head will be vibrating)... When you choose a gun, Practice, practice, practice and then practice some more... They have downsized the storefront a few times over the years so the current location may seem small but it's still the best spot in the Goleta/Santa Barbara area. I do most of my own gunsmith work but from what I've seen and heard from friends they are top notch in that department.

Courteous staff, good experiences here. Make sure to go around to the back of the store, as the front entrance is closed. Although they can get backlogged with their gunsmithing jobs, they do great work. Recently had the barrel threaded for a muzzle brake on my Remington 700, and am very happy with how it turned out. Would recommend.

I purchased my first handgun and took the written test here and had a great experience. Dan helped me through each step and was nice, helpful, informative, and patient. I wouldn't hesitate to say that this is the best gun shop in town based on the customer service alone! You accumulate store credit for every purchase you make which is an awesome perk. They have a great selection of handguns revolvers rifles and more! They also are armorers and have installed sights and an extended mag release on my 1911 at a low cost and a 1 day turnaround time. 1 day! Overall highly recommended.
