All the negative reviews of Oxnard Housing are removed from this forum (by section 8, I’m assuming) so you, the reading public, unfortunately won’t get to see this because they are aggressively controlling the flow of balanced and accurate information. This is an example of how section 8 runs. Don’t solve the problem or address it, just remove the complaint. Oh but you can’t remove all the 1-star ratings, can you? I happen to love my tenant who is a hardworking, ethical, highly motivated single mom, but the program itself has been unfair to me, the landlord and to her too. They reject modest and fair rent raise requests without valid reasons, until they are paying approx 20-30% under market and staff does not return emails or phone calls. After 6 years I feel disrespected, taken advantage of and leveraged. I will never do business with this outfit again.
