Solvang one of my favorite place to visit!! I love the food, wine is amazing , ice cream, clean little town, peaceful , and great place walk around the mission to see sunrise and sunset. Highly recommended. To have to go people i promised you would not regret it.

This park is just down the street from me and I go there quite a bit with my family. In short, it has a great skate park, tennis/pickle ball courts, decent playground, and a nice riding/hiking trail that follows the creek and dumps you out on Mission (Hwy 246) by the hardware store. We (i.e., Solvang) just got a $178K grant for some additional improvements. The only downer is the occasional weekend gathering that can be too large and obnoxiously loud (brass bands) for a serene setting.

Beautiful little park! Nicely kept…grass is long (sounds crazy but this is awesome for people with dogs!!) so we loved that…great for bird watching…we saw some hawks trying to hunt…beautiful hills and trails…highly recommended…they have cement picnic tables and a nice playground area…

Yes they allow dogs. My friends brought theirs and my dad has brought his here for last few years. Basic rules dog on leash and pick up after them.

From what others have said dogs are allowed, but be respectful by keeping your dog leashed and picking up after them.
