I don't make it a point to give any sort of bad review, but this is the second time in a row that I have had bad experience. The first time I ordered Avocado toast (I have had it in the past and it was fantastic) and a juice. I drove to get it, got back to work and it was literally just avocado on cold overly toasted bread, no whipped ricotta or any seasonings at all, also the juice wasn't bad, but wasn't what I ordered. I called and they said oh, well we are out of ricotta, sorry and you can bring back the juice and we will make a new one. I would have never ordered that particular item if I knew half the ingredients were missing and I couldn't leave work again to go replace my juice or get a different lunch from somewhere else. Then today I was willing to give it another try, called in my order (same thing) and they didn't have any juices what so ever (is what i was told) This time when i picked it up I started to look and the girl at the counter made me feel very uncomfortable and said "ITS ALL IN THERE" so I didn't look right then and paid. I got in my car where I didn't feel judged to check and again there was just avocado on toast, this time there was seasonings and the rest, but no ricotta. I took it back in, showed her and you could see how annoyed she was, and said I guess we can remake it. I apologized, but I wanted what I paid for. She went back in the kitchen and apparently they were out of ricotta again. She came back out with some sort of cream. I told her about the previous time, and told her again, it was hard for me to leave work and I wouldn't have ordered it if i knew it was missing the ricotta. She told me they didn't know, the she just kept saying I understand over and over while she was walking away. So rude! It is hard for me to complain at all, and she made me feel so incredibly uncomfortable. Very cool atmosphere, but rude employees, seems like they are always out of something and wont let you know when your placing an order that they know wont be right!

Café with spacious, industrial-vibe interior. Food options are quite extensive and every item we tried were well put together and tasty. Coffee was equally good and organic juice (made in-house, I think) tasted fresh. It takes a bit of drive to get to, if you are passing by Eugene via I-5, but I think it is worth a bit of detour.

While I loved the urban vibe and atmosphere, sadly I wasn't a fan of the pastries or coffee. We ordered a vanilla latte made with oatmilk, a yerba mate latte made with oatmilk, a vegan banana muffin and a vegan blackberry pecan breakfast bar. The vanilla latte had a nice foamy texture, but the drink was not strong enough, It could have been benefited from an extra shot of espresso (and I generally don't order my drinks with an extra shot). If the drink had been a bit stronger I think it would have been excellent. The pastries were beautiful, but both were very very sweet, and missed the mark for me. The banana muffin was topped with a very large amount of coarse, raw sugar. I do feel that this ruined the texture a bit. The blackberry breakfast bar had a very thin layer of blackberry, it seems like it was really only there for color, the fruit flavor was not detectable. It tasted like sugared oats. I do tend to like sweets, but I did feel that everything at Coffee Plant Roaster was overly sweet, at least for my tastes. My gripes are all based on personal preference and taste, nothing to do with the customer service. I found the employees to be friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean. If you're into very sweet pastries this may be just the place for you, but I'm not likely to return.

Best avocado toast I’ve ever had. Thick-cut fresh made sourdough, heavenly whipped ricotta, lemon oil and chili, grated yolk, everything spice, and radishes

It's big enough and really beautiful inside. It's never been disturbingly loud anytime I've been there.
No, you order at the door.
