I am totally positive toward this church because of its solid Bible teaching, plurality of leadership, inclusivity of all people and all ages, and many opportunities for fellowship and developing deeper friendships. We attended several churches during the first seven years we were in LA. We found OCF in 1993 when it was an “adolescent” church still seeking a permanent location where it could grow and minister to both members and the community. Almost 30 years later, we are still here, and the church continues to grow in both numbers and depth of knowledge in Christ. Friendships made here have solidified and deepened since Covid. Our pastors and elders truly see themselves as shepherds of God’s people, and we all see one another as family. Come and see!

We go here when we're in town to visit family. The people are welcoming and the message is Bible-based. They have "plurality of leadership," so there's a different preacher each Sunday, and they've all been good. The music is current (think KLOVE) but not too loud or showy. They're not giving a concert; they're worshipful.

Today I visited this church for the first time and I must say it's an amazing church. I'm in LA for work and OCF was the closest church to my hotel. It was pouring rain so I took a taxi. I grabbed a cup of coffee and was greeted by several people who made me feel welcome. The praise music was fantastic with several incredible singers, guitars, a synthesizer and drums. But the instruments don't overpower the singing like I've experienced before, nor did they seem to be doing it for their own glory. It really was a beautiful worshipful experience. Pastor Joe Hellerman shared what it may be like if the Holy Spirit really did come like we all often sing about. The message used scripture from Isaiah and he really connected with illustrations. Jesus is definitely glorified in this church. To make the church even better, the woman in my row said her husband could drop me off at the hotel so I wouldn't have to pay a taxi or walk in the rain. This church is also very involved in the community and has lots of small groups. If I lived out here this would probably be my church.

A great church. It's a little different than a lot of churches in that it has multiple pastors instead of a single lead pastor. Adds some variety to the mix. Never have we been so welcomed at a church.
