Helpful staff, pretty great selection of used, new, audiophile, and relatively rare vinyl, and mostly on par / reasonable pricing. You won't find aisles and aisles here-- the shop is small, but I still (somehow) manage to spend an hour here each time I stop to "look for just one thing." Surprisingly robust jazz section. Country seemed a bit thin, but some artists are put in with Rock / Pop / Indie. Small selection of equipment for sale.

I love coming to this place for how easily accessible it is and the selection of records they have, and the workers are very nice too. But it feels like everything here is scalped or marked up very very high. It’s similar to a Discogs market place.

Pretty cool shop, I can see why it's so well-reviewed. There were quite a few people inside combing through the massive new arrival section. Found some gems at reasonable prices. Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots for $30? Heckin' yeah. Also, the staff seemed very helpful.

I live down in Utah County and because of their high rating I've wanted to go up there because I am collecting jazz vinyl. I had other business near the downtown area. They have a very broad spectrum of vinyl. Their jazz is in a room by itself. I found some albums I wanted. Parking is a problem. That's typical of small retail like that downtown. I was able to park around the corner on the other side of the street.

JIM CALHOUN? HE'S NOT WELCOME IN THESE HERE PARTS, THAT BLIGHT ON THE OKLAHOMA STAR!
Masks required, dont be sick, 30 min shopping , expect a chill line outside due to limited numbers of people.
i just have landline 3854746641
If they don't have it they can get it for sure.
Thank you for asking, but we are not buying 78's at this time.
Definitely a good place to start!
They still do. My go-to place in town for everything turntables. They have most of the common things needed. Randy will scope your stylis to see if you need a new one and help you get a new one. He also has/knows people that can work on them and other analog gear. He also sells new and used tables and trades them.
I don't see why not but Randy and his employees would let you know if you go in and ask. You could take a pic of the outside anytime and tag. They are closed Sunday and Monday.
Odds are they probably have it. If not they can order it for you
I'm not an employee but I saw something there of him once. The store is multigenre now.
For information on what types of records we are looking to buy, please contact the shop at: (801) 532-4413. We buy all genres (styles/categories) of music and will purchase entire collections, large or small. Condition is very important and is a major factor in determining a records value. Some titles sell better and for more than others due to supply and demand. Randy has been buying and reselling vinyl, here at the shop, for over 35 years.
They have some, not a huge amount, but probably the most in SLC.
Yup. They better not be Barbra Streisand records though
They sell cassettes. Not sure if they have any Walkmans.
Country Western, Rock, R&B, Oldies, Soul, Blues!!!
