I was in Miami for the weekend and looking for an authentic Argentinean cuisine..and I found it!!! Everything was delicious and the staff was amazing!! We ordered the Parilla para la Mesa and everything was cooked perfect and delicious. Sides were good and wine was fantastic!! Will come here everytime I go to Miami!

Went in on a late Sunday morning. Not at all crowded, maybe four other patrons in total as I sat. One server on the floor. I guess it was fairly busy considering it took quite some time to get tended to. The menu has lemonade listed but they didn't have any much to my chagrin. The only drinks available that aren't coffee or soft drinks are fresh orange juice, Brisk Iced Tea in a can (which I settled for) and bottled mango juice. Morcilla was really tasty. Well salted and seasoned. It's a bit softer than other morcilla I've had, which is fine, but it can be a little messy cutting into it. Would definitely get it again and with company I'd probably get it on one of the small table grills. I ordered the Chivito Al Plato as my main. The difference between this and the sandwich is that it's served on a bed of fries instead of between bread. I asked if I could instead get rice and was told it'd be an upcharge, which I thought was strange. I stuck with the fries. I asked for no olives and no salad. Fortunately the olives were omitted but I did still get salad. The dish also comes with potato salad and a few veggies on the side. I haven't had Argentinian potato salad before so I'm not sure what it's supposed to be like but I wasn't much of a fan. Granted, it being a bit light on flavor I guess kinda balances the dish out. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed the dish itself. Steak was cooked and seasoned well, all the flavors melded together beautifully. The bacon was a little sad, kind of middle of the road standard thin bacon, but I'm picky about the little bacon I do have. I'd go again to try something else. The menu has many items I'm interested in.

What a place! Good food ( the short ribs are delicious) and the parillada for two is enough for 3! The desserts are traditional argentine style that you don't see at other argentine restaurants. You really can't miss. If you are in Miami, visit all those fancy places, but come to eat at Los Gauchitos! You'll get more for your $$. Our server Carmen was also very attentive. Will definitely visit again and again...and again.
