Great location but sites are very tight. No privacy. Difficult access from the north hairpin entrance. Good food at the little restaurant. Central between Ventura and Carpinteria.

A great place to visit, very beautiful and serene. The grill has excellent food great service and wonderful people. It made a good pit stop for myself and my club brothers who were out for a ride on her motorcycle. Highly recommended !

Great campground, especially ocean front, no hook-ups there but if you love the sound of waves, it's hard to beat! Nice sandy Beach at low tide. Paved bike trails from Carpinteria to Ventura. And Chef Nick from the Bronx makes fresh pizzas, calzones, burgers, and more right there at the Hobson Beach food shack. But get your order in early, it's a popular spot!

Depending on what site you have reservations for. Hobson isn't 100% open as of right this moment. Its at 2/3 . What site do you have
Not at all you can have a travel trailer you can have an RV and you can also tent camp
Yes sites 29,30,31,1,2,3, 4,5,6,&7 are full hookups.

Book your reservation through Ventura county parks site. Usually full. Book way in advance.
None of the hook-up sites are any better or worse than the others. Hobson is a very small park. Dry camping sites have more room. I prefer Faria County Park (about a mile south) as it has better beach access and views of the ocean.
It was full last time I was there. I would say slim to none.

Yes you can use the dump facilities at one of the hook up sites. There is a service fee of about $10 . Check with the ranger.
