Called to see if someone turned in my club. Gave them exact details on tee time, what hole I think I lost it at, description of my club. Was told they are not allowed to check and I must come to the golf course to look. I explained I lived far away and it is tough for me to make it out there. I don’t want to waste my time if the club is not there. I was even told to call the pro shop in the morning by a Hansen Dam employee. Ridiculous.

Had family in town and was going to introduce them to the drive range. Called to Confirm hours of operation and was told last balls at 9 and lights off at 10. I arrived at 7:45 and was told they are closed. I informed him I called and was confirmed 9pm, guy there told me I got wrong information but then he confirmed they closed at 9. He said he already shut everything off so to bad. Haven't play here yet but with this situation not sure if I want to

Great la public course! Beginners and veterans alike can enjoy a round here. The fairways are wide but if you miss you'll likely be in the trees. Well maintained course especially for a public course. I love playing here.

Magnificent way to spend your day. I recently brought my two young kids out to teach them the great game of golf. Hansen Dam Golf course offers a chipping practice field a driving range and a putting green practice field. I was able to go over the basics with my young kids and enjoyed the day.
