Issues at Riverview today : The gentleman that's "been there for 16 years" that started our conversation with, "if I see you hitting into the group Infront of you, you'll be kicked out" By the way, I'm standing on the 1st T. I haven't even struck a ball yet ... after our T time was delayed for over an hour, and I get this from The OLD GUY WITH THE GREY Mustach ? He must have got up on the wrong side of the bed ... Or he thinks I stole his lunch money back in grade school ! So for Today, June 3rd 2022 Riverview gets No STARS from me. You may want to Fire the old dude with the bad additive toward paying customers. At least have a chat with him I decided not to play today, as did the 2 gentleman I had been paired with. The agreed his comments were totally uncalled for.

Note: This review is for the wedding venue experience ONLY- not a review of the golf course or club. No one could deny the beautiful landscape, immaculate quality, and pleasant layout of the venue. The multi-tiered stone teraces are lovely and comfortable. The fountains are beautiful and the grass is green... but there are some service issues that hold back the experience from being top notch. Our friend's wedding was serviced by not one, not two, but no fewer than three different event planners due to poor staffing. This gave the bride some undue stress. At the event itself, there were no trashcans available except for behind the bar, so people had to hold their hors d'oeuvre skewers until someone came around to take them. This was messy, and caused my wife to get some balsamic vinegar on her dress. Additionally, the open bar service was less than appealing. My friend ordered a whisky sour that had no sour mix and so much extra water he couldn't taste whisky. This happened to more than one of us at the table. They had to return the drinks. Additionally, none of the tenders could pour a beer. Every cup had about half a glass of beer and half a glass of foam, which was both unpleasant to deal with and messy, requiring several napkins to clean up. (Napkins which you had to just hold onto due to the aforementioned lack of trashcans) Overall, the event was fun, the staff were pleasant, and the venue was beautiful, but it lacks consistency and polish. These are all issues that could be fixed by paying an event manager an inticing salary, training good bar tenders, and putting out even a single trashcan. 👍

We just had our daughter’s wedding on 5/7. The weather was rainy and the wedding was held inside. Lexi and her team did a fantastic job setting everything up and the wedding, reception, food, service was outstanding. Thank you for making this special day memorable.
