This was a toss up. We didnβt wait long to sit but we waited a crazy long time for our food. Our waiter was running around unsure about thingsβ possibly he was new. When the food eventually came out, it was pretty great. Not sure about waiting so long for it, but taste wise, it was well made and carefully plated. The ambience of the place was great, but they might need some help in the kitchen.

I enjoyed my Philadelphia omelette with jalapeΓ±o in it, but the grits were super dry. Yummy French toasts. My foamy cappuccino was so worth π. Fast service with a amazing view.

We stopped in here for breakfast following Easter services at the neighboring church. We entered the restaurant and saw a sign that told us to seat ourselves, so we did. We were acknowledged by our server as we were sitting down, and she brought us some menus to look over while she got our beverages. I decided to have the Huevos Rancheros Wrap which consists of scrambled eggs, with bacon or sausage (I chose bacon) in a cheese flavored wrap with salsa picante. It comes with home fries or grits, so I chose grits. The food came out in a decent amount of time. My wrap was piping hot, but the grits could have been a little more hot (no worries, though, because the butter that I added did melt!). The wrap itself was ok. The bacon tasted a bit on the burnt side (which I normally like), but it kind of gave the entire wrap too much of a smoky flavor. The eggs were plentiful, though, and it came with picante that had jalapeno slices in it! I love that! The grits were good and had the perfect consistency...not too runny and not pasty. Overall, this is a good place for breakfast. It's an older building that started out life as a drugstore, but it's quite roomy inside. It is not fancy, but it's got that cozy "diner" feel to it. The staff are super friendly, and the prices are actually pretty fair! The food is good, and the menu has got a lot of great choices on it. I would visit again when in the area!
