Friday was my son's senior prom. He had the outfit but I completely forgot about his boutonniere. I was able to go into Woods Florist & Flower Delivery early Friday morning and by the afternoon his boutonniere was ready for the event. Great match for the color in his tie. Reasonably priced and accommodating.

I have ordered multiple times in the past and was satisfied. I’m a little dissatisfied with today’s flowers as it’s for Mother’s Day. The flowers look like they were thrown together and the roses are already browning. I ordered the Teleflora's Dancing Beauty Bouquet.

Woods is close to my office so my husband has ordered from them quite a few times & they are always gorgeous! This particular time I told myself you have to write a review- my roses were jaw dropping the day I got them. One week later & they are almost identical! We are a family business too (since 1921) so I love that we can support another local family business that has been around just as long!! It’s not easy to find this effort & quality these days! I will never use another florist.

Once again Wood's Florist of College Park, Maryland, has come through with an amazing response to my request for flower arrangements. Our Special Occasion this time was the Rehearsal Dinner for my Son's wedding. With one simple phone …Paul, Thank you! We appreciate your great review and we are so glad the arrangements were a big hit. Thanks, Kim

I used them many years ago for my bridal bouquet. But lately they helped me with funeral flowers and artificial flowers for the cemetery. I have always been very happy and satisfied with their work. And, they are very pleasant and helpful. I recommend them highly.
Yes we do but we need some notice ahead of time. We do not carry a lot of silks at any one time. Thank you!
It depends on what you prefer! Usually the we instruct delivery drivers to bring the flowers back to the shop for safekeeping. If you prefer that we leave your gift with a neighbor, just let us know when calling or in the Special Instructions section online of the order type “If no one’s at home, leave it with a neighbor.” In either case, the recipient will be notified with a message on the door or a voice mail from the florist.
Of course we can…with a little anticipation! Be sure you give us a daytime phone number for the person receiving the flowers. Two phone numbers, a work number and a cell number, are twice as nice! Let us know when ordering or put a note online in the Special Instructions section of the order to let us know it’s a secure area or building. Some facilities will allow delivery to a gate guard or main office, so let us know if that’s an option.
Absolutely! Sympathy arrangements take priority . If you say, for example, “memorial service at 11:00 AM,” we’ll make a special effort to deliver the arrangement the day before or early in the morning.
We can't guarantee it, but we'll do our best! Just add a note in the Special Instructions section online or tell us when calling in. For example, say "deliver before 3:00 PM, she leaves work then." That way the driver will know to make it a priority.

We will, but usually we’d rather not. Hot sun, wind, freezing temps, dogs and cats can wreak havoc on your gift very quickly. Of course, we’ll honor your request if you let us know or put a note online in the Special Instructions section saying “please leave it at the door if no one is at home.” Or if the shop has contacted the recipient and knows they will be home soon, they might make an exception.
