Grateful for Chapman. They gave me Shelter during the cold weather. Now I am a resident and getting the help I need to get back on my feet. Staff has been extra helpful and polite. When I get the Chance to repay you I will. Thank you, Odin

I would recommend this shelter to anyone. Just give them a chance to help you. They provide you with a bed, 3 meals a day, job interviews, clothes, counseling and housing. I can't stress this enough, just let them help you.

Chapman Partnership is the second worst thing that Miami-Dade could have thought of regarding how to help homeless people. They have forgotten that they are supposed to help people get out of the shelter and get them on their feet into their own place and a job if the person can work. The case managers here are possibly racially biased. I bet that everyone who has graduated from this so called program were all native Spanish speaking people. They don't care about African Americans. They are holding all of the current residents hostage instead. This so called program is not do much for me because I am an African American woman. They don't care. Next to Miami-Dade Homeless Trust, again this is the worst thing that Miami-Dade county could have ever came up with. living in this shelter is a lie and manipulations. Staff members treat everyone like prisoners and the people that Chapman Partnership hired to help the residents of Chapman Partnership are not doing their jobs. They don't care, they suck everyone housing specialist, case managers, everyone who supposed to help everyone are discriminating against color and language barrier. Even the African American employees are only helping Spanish speaking natives and ignoring the English speaking clients and not doing anything to get everyone who is a resident out of the Chapman Partnership shelter. They're all paid to give people the runaround. They're only on their job whenever they need to discharge someone or tell someone to put on their mask. I HATE CHAPMAN! I wish that I could sue these people.

Upon entrance you treated as a homeless piece of dirt. They check your luggage and I'm sure it's for everyone's safety but there's no need to linger near my panties. The staff are rude and it feels like a prison system, the classes are non existent to be honest and they don't even help with job placements. I recommend a nice forest on 296 and us1

Me and my wife walked away from chatman still to be homeless they are nasty the staff member don't care they treat people as if they are in jail and I'm still on the street me and my wife and I've asked everyone I can possibly can to donate money and the cost of our living so that we can get an apartment and just like Chapman each and everyone have turned their back on us again I ask for help in donating anything to the cost Ali in my wife finding an apartment you can send donations 2 1670 Northwest 4th Avenue Apartment 12 G Miami Florida 33136 is the mailing address in which we use thank you all for both your time and consideration
It is demoralizing and so unprofessional we need people who wants to work there not just to get a check?
I no how u feeling I waiting four months to get in... But if u find the green shirts... They in front of Chapman or at the Government Center...
Yes I have employment as well and they ate in the sisters on helping us get an apartment but you must give them 77% I'm your gross earning once they find you apartment they would give you the money back that you have saved with them and pay your rent for 6 months and then you will be on your own again I have been asking everyone for donations now I respectfully request a donation from you could you please donate anything that you can so that me and my wife can get up the money we need to move out of here you can donate to me at my cash app which is $poetic Prophet God. That's one word are you can send me a donation at 1670 Northwest 4th Avenue 33136 thank you so much for both your time and consideration and I would hope that you're family can move in the shelter all they have to do is called a new register at the homeless hotline my name is Larry Grimes I was trying to say date aid and assist us on getting an apartment
If you are a single person Or a family you will need to contact the homeless hotline to register. Once registeref they will contact you and advice you if they have space in our shelter or any other. Families are treated different a team dedicated to families will verify if you are actually homesless and once verified other steps are taken before deciding home can you be helped. With singles is a bit different because they will contact you to meet with you but only when beds are available so that is why it is important that anyone in need of assistance continues to call the hotline...the hotline receives at least 200 calls a day so please if you really need assistance continue to call if not leave that space for someone who really is in need of if...wish you luck!
Call the police

Yes. Families as well. If u are married with kids you will be placed in the same room. If u have no kids u would be separated in the female and male dorm.
Due to COVID there not accepting any donations at the moment.
To my understanding your lease ends feburary 28th and you'd like to know if there is available space to accommodate your stay for further information on relocating. Correct ! Speaking out of hands on experience dating February 2, 2021. Apparently At the moment there is more than enough space at the facility located at 1500 n Miami Ave . There's a new rule or requirement set by the state or the programs guidelines and regulations that before aquiring any services from such shelter based programs you'd have to quarantine and be processed by the now called red roof which is a requirement prior to being admitted to any shelter in Miami Dade county ... Reach the homeless outreach hotline they will assist you with further information on aquiring emergency hoteling shelter and or placement.
Per protocol normally a client is allowed up to two months on site.
they did the same to me with my kids. If your a single go check camilus house or call the homeless hotline like I did and they helped me find another shelter
You can stay there.
Go downtown see if the green shirt guys would get u in!! Police can get u in tonight!!
It honestly depends on the waiting list that is already in place. The best recommendation is keep calling the helpline everyday so you don't fall too down in the list.
You will encounter rudeness and people who just come to work for a paycheck wherever you go these days!!! For the most part most of the staff are truly genuine and compassionate about what they do!!! That's been my experience thus far ☺️
No i think.. but contact a property lawyer and ask him
$poeticprophetgod
Meals r only for residents at Chapman Partnership. But the Rescue Mission feeding is open to the public 4:30pm Mon., Wedn, Fri., and Sat.
The correct answer is that anyone that would need shelter must first call the homeless hotline to get registered only that way we "Chapman" accept individuals. No one should approach an Outreach "Green shirts" staff to ask for a bed, if "COM" CITY OF MIAMI OUTREACH office finds that that us how they get in the staff may get fired. And about the Police only City if Miami officer are authorized to bring clients but only if they did a violation and instead if going to jail the officer offers them a bed at a shelter. I hope I was able to answer any dault or questions
Green shirts downtown!! Police can get u in quicker!!
