This is the first time I’ve visited this particular dim sum spot, it’s a cute store front with tons of options especially, moon cakes. The only down side during this visit was that the sit-down area was closed, to-go orders only and I wasn’t in the mood to eat in the car but I also didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to try a new spot. I ordered 3 items; shumai, leek cake and sweet bun! The ingredients seem to be better than that of its competition Won kok, the prices are also reasonable. Can’t wait to come back when I am able to sit and enjoy my meal….

May 2022 - They have tables and chairs but the area was blocked off when I last visited. No wait, every time I've visited there's at most 2 or 3 groups in front of me waiting to order but it goes by quick. Food/Pricing - We usually get their chicken baos! Which are $1.95 each I believe. Hands down the best quality for the price! They also have all kinds of cookies and other pastries that are great too! Service/Ambiance - Quick service, takeout style. Will I be back? Always, if I'm in the area!

Inexpensive pastry shop. The dine in is closed due to Covid measures. There's usually a line, not because there's a lot of customers but people usually buy in a huge quantity and there's one or two person at the counter. Plenty of variety for you to choose. Most of the breads and pastries are traditional Chinese baking. Not the best in town but they're inexpensive for sure.

Long enjoyed by locals for Chinese Pastry and cheap Dim Sum it was on Mother’s Day that Long’s Family Pastry was found with a short line, the trio if vagrants lured by ownership’s apparent laissez-faire approach to shoplifting not exactly part of Long’s appeal but instead indicative of the area surrounding Los Angeles’ Chinatown. Underdiscussed in comparison to the San Gabriel Valley neighborhoods, but more accessible to foot traffic and downtown, it is with social distancing guidelines in place that guests entering Long’s receive immediate attention, staff’s desire to make a sale and move on creating palpable pressure for first timers. Offering a variety of labeled sweets and savories, with prices prominent of a menu board, it was while observing the kitchen in back that seven items were tallied to $16, the Chinese Donut an immediate disappointment sopping with Oil while Long’s Taro Cake tastes like Potatoes cooked in Chicken Broth for too much time. Improved with Moon Cakes, three plus or minus Egg Yolks featuring golden Pasty and thick filling, Long’s Sesame Ball is well worth its $0.95 while $1.25 for an Egg Custard Tart would be a bargain were it not flaccid and nearly flavorless. Finishing up with two Buns, “Egg Snow” a disastrous item with what tastes like mushy Pork inside, do instead save money for one labeled Custard that offers fluffy Bread surrounding sweet and creamy molten filling.
