$3.75 for a cupcake. The cake is moist and rich. The frosting is light, fluffy and sweet. Like at a lot of places in Los Angeles, I do wonder why people running or working at a brick and mortar B2C are communicating silently and weirdly when presented with the prospect of a brown woman as a customer. I guess, India doesn't exist in your world.

My husband and I use Butter Cake Shoppe for our New Year’s Eve wedding. Their cakes are unique and delicious! We had a cookie dough cake. It was to die for! We were so glad to have a cake with good flavor and consistency. Plus the have great customer service. We will definitely be buying from Butter Cake Shoppe again. Thanks ladies

I see the great reviews, and I am looking at the poor excuse for a cake my friend sadly paid for. I understand why she chose this place based on online presence, but let me tell you what we actually received. The cake was both mealy and dry, more brick-like than anything else. So dense that I could barely even cut the cake. I assumed it must still be frozen or something, then I took a bite - room temperature. The frosting was not even close to voluminous, or anything resembling a respectable buttercream. It was so flat and oily that it started flaking off the cake in big pieces making the cake look even more broken down. Do not recommend - beware - even if they do turn out good stuff for some, there is not consistency and the cake we received in no way was prepared by any self-respecting baker.

I ordered my birthday cake from here and they didn't disappoint! I was recommended to come here from a friend and from the moment I walked in they made me feel comfortable and their service is great. They listened to what I wanted and tried to work with me to come to an agreement on a style of cake and other goodies they also offer. I ordered the cones, cake pops, parfaits and a 2 tier cake. Overall I would recommend them and I will defiantly use their services again! I believe the lady that assisted me her name was dalar and also Armen was very helpful as well!
