Very good park for young kids and teenagers, I just wish the park was open longer than 6pm especially during summer time.

Nice and modern park for young and older kids. Lots of parking but hard to find a spot during peak hours due to the YMCA being on the same site. There are lots of swings but weird that there is only one slide designed for the youngest toddlers. One con of this place is that it barely has any shade so not a great place for a sunny and hot day. I also couldn't find restroom facilities but didn't look hard enough so they might be around but not next to the park. There is also a soccer field and tennis courts which I assume are part of the Y.

Update on my review to lower the stars: the park is supposed to close at dusk and the rude Hispanic man that closed the park claims the sign is “old” and that the park closes at 7, yet we played until 8:30 last night. Maybe update your sign and don’t be rude. I’ve been here every day, and 7 isn’t a thing. Maybe open it in the morning and close at a normal time that’s the same. Just bc you want to get off work early on a Friday… Basketball courts are never open and haven’t been for 2 weeks because the guy “forgets to unlock it” and tennis courts are always taken, otherwise really nice! Crowded on weekends but the week is fabulous!

Definitely, the family place to go to. Here you'll find activities for everybody, from kids to adults to seniors alike. This facilities include soccer and baseball fields, pool, water recreation area, weight lifting, exercise machines, spinning classes, kids fun activities, among other things. Staff friendly and helpful. I'm going now.

I think it is to be used like the rest of the YMCA, which is with a membership. I am not entirely sure if it is part of a package agreement, so to be positive, call them to give you the complete information needed
Yes
Absolutely... they should... being that kids are back in school the hours have changed... for example I was here yesterday @ 3PM & the pool was closed... so hopefully they will make the new hours available
Hi Stephen, thanks for asking! The trail around the perimeter of the park is .65 mile. Around the Soccer field is .47 miles, just a little over two laps and you've walked a mile!
Membership based... you can visit their website for precise information
I don't know but if i remember to ask i will tomorrow
The cost of membership is based on your age, income and if you have a family. Youth ages (0-12) between $ 15- $ 25. Young adults (18-25) between $ 30- $ 35. I'm not sure, but I think Hallandale residents could also get a discount. It is worth it and they will do everything possible if money is a problem. I am with my family there in the family plan and it is amazing. You may still have special offers available for new members.
The park is closed for construction. Once reopened, the fields can be reserved through the Parks & Rec Department.
