I experienced an outstanding and thorough unraveling of a somewhat complex legal matter and it was handled by Christopher Meinzer himself. He saved me a small fortune.

Questions & Answers

How much is the cheapest easiest divorce cost?

The least expensive way to obtain a divorce decree is to pay the filing fee to initiate a Divorce Complaint at the county courthouse Prothonotary where the parties reside. The filing fees vary depending upon the county, usually amounting to aprox. $300-$400. Most counties will give you a "How to process your own Divorce" instruction sheet. Then, after you improperly serve the Defendant, try to draft a Property and Separation Agreement acceptable to the Court for inclusion into the Order granting the divorce, and finally go to a lawyer to start over again to do it right, the "cheapest" way will never be the "easiest" way. I personally invite you to schedule an initial consultation to answer all your questions in this regard...every case is unique to the assets, children, length of marriage, and this initial consult will only be $50. I wish you good luck in resolving this difficult time.
