So frustrating when people are rude on the phone for no reason.

Never seen someone some nice on the phone to tell you they have no idea when you will receive your return. They don't let you speak to a manager just send you to a voicemail.

Need estimated tax forms for 2020. Website has drafts of 2019 forms. How can I pay estimated tax due on April 15??? Can't talk to anyone. Website inadequate.

Phone help is no help! Good luck if you have to call them for help with anything. I would say to always get the person's name who you're speaking to. But that won't really make a difference when they tell you something wrong. I also suggest calling back multiple times to verify what you've been told. I spoke to 3 different people and got 3 different answers but in the end they said they don't know why or who told you that but it's your fault for doing it wrong. Maybe it's different when you're in the office and speak to someone in person.

If you take a lump sum payment you are subject to about 20% of the taxable portion for federal income tax and 5% for Nebraska income tax. In addition, if you have not reached age 59 ½, you may also be subject to a 10% federal and 3% state penalty for early withdrawal of a retirement account. Alternatively you are not subject to taxes or penalties if you rollover those funds into another comparable retirement account.

We have an employee that has worked in your state this year...…..what are the rules as to how much time they have to spend in NE before we tax their wages in NE?

Well it starts right away in Nebraska. As soon as you start working they start taxing you you when you get your first check. That should be in every state 🤔🤔🤔.!?!?
