We were just passing through and stopped on a whim. Glad we did! We were pleasantly surprised! Very friendly people, really good food, and a good atmosphere! We had brisket sandwich. HIGHLY recommend!

Stopped here while passing through the area on Rt. 29. Pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Seated immediately, very friendly staff, and tasty food. Everything arrived fast and hot. Our group tried the fried pickled, deviled eggs, corn fritters, club, brisket sandwich, and burger. All was delicious, especially the corn fritters! Definitely recommend trying those. Coffee was made fresh and kept topped off the whole time. They make you feel like you're at home here. Carrot cake was a hit as well!

Nice local spot tucked away in Lovingston. Great outdoor space, with a stage for music, but don't expect any views. Food was ok, but considering the location it can be recommended if you're there and looking to get a bite.

We had a really bad experience last night. Not sure what the problem was but we had bad service, our cheeseburger buns were soggy on the bottom, and my husband ‘s fried oysters were not done. We have lived in Amherst county for 9 years and we have eaten there numerous times. It seems to have changed and it will be awhile before we return

When my friend and I went we had to wear masks until we were seated to eat and when we were moving about to go to the bathroom etc. And they observe social distancing w tables and seating and even have the bar stools put away on the bar side of the restaurant. I felt safe, the service was good a d employees used proper precautions, and the food was Delicious!!
