This is the best nursery we have found in Eastern NC! We drove about an hour to it and although it was extremely hot outside, the trip was worth it! Not only do you get the largest inventory, but we found the prices to be cheaper than most as well! If that wasn’t enough, they have different animals, ponds, and themes as you will see in the pictures. We will definitely be back when it is a little cooler out!

I always find something special at Pender Pines! I like going with my boys and husband to pick out plants and visit the animals, too. We take my mother-in-law there many times as she is an avid gardener! It's fun to go at Christmas to see all their decorations. We just recently visited to purchase gardening soil and hydrangeas. I highly recommend people to visit Pender Pines all year round!

More than just a Garden Center! The Nature area and ponds out front and out back are the perfect place to sit and enjoy a book (especially if your other half is shopping) or in my case to capture some fantastic shots of a beautiful couple for their engagement session!

This is a wonderful place for the whole family to visit! Plan to spend more than a few hours here, for sure. Besides a HUGE selection of plants, they have farm animals, tropical birds, a koi pond, and more.

Ohh yes they do, they have a beautiful pond with lots & lots of plants for wet ateas as well as in the water, and they have a big display of pond plants for sale. You'll love Pender Pines !!!!
They will grow in zones higher than 6. Zone maps are based on cold hardiness. The plant in question will not grow in zones lower than 6. In zone 8 they need rich soil and plenty of moisture.
Spring inventory becomes available as it becomes ready. Sometimes it depends on the weather as most things gardening related do. Mid March is when thigs really start happening here. You are always welcome to call and check availability if there is something in particular that you are looking for.

Don't know for sure but I think it's a good bet! Plenty of choices over several acres.
I don't remember seeing any thing that looked like that but they have such a wide variety of plants, trees, succulents, etc. that I didn't get to see everything. Hope this was helpful.

I have been at Pender Pines a handful of times. They carry a variety of plants and etc. They also have, throughout the store exotic birds. I have not seen any other animals in the store
