Over crowded on weekends, well thursday to sunday, not enough parking, very dangerous for pedestrian traffic.

We floated the bridge to the marina. Parking is VERY limited at the bridge, so heads up. We brought our own floats and gear and got in right away. Water was amazing and the float was enjoyable. Sheriff boat was out when we went, checking for life vests for everyone, as it's the law to have them available and under 12 have to wear at all times. Good time.

This is a pretty busy spot parking-wise. There are plenty of drop-off zones if you think your car might be lonely if you leave it there, but trust me, it won't be lonely.

What a great place to put in and take out your float toys. The parking is ample, close to Sunriver and the local sheriff's dept keeps a close eye on the crowd during peak hours and days. Lots to do and see in the area. Stop by and check it out for your next river float trip!!!

It's totally safe, just make sure you have some paddles to keep yourself centered in the river.
That would take all day, even with consistent paddling. Harpers bridge to the marina is 2+ hours, then another 3-4 to the Sunriver Canoe Takeout. That's only a 3rd of the way to Drake Park.
It just gets shallower towards the sides and sometimes there are a few sticks poking out of the water. Nothing to bad.
