My family and I have been coming to the Porterhouse for many years. My son and daughter love the Dry aged Delmonico steak, always cooked to perfection. I recently tried the pesto chicken fettuccine. Noodles were very creamy and well cooked and the chicken was juicy soft and flavorful. We always get the Vidalia onion soup. Soup is flavorful with just the right amount of mozzarella cheese browned on the top. My wife loves the salmon and scallops. Seafood is always fresh. I can tell you I have never had a bad meal at the Porter House. Our server on 4/29/22 was Mary C. She was courteous and prompt, refilling our drinks, bringing bread to the table and delivering our meals probably and hot. We will continue to dine at the Porter House restaurant and pub. Overall not the best experience, but I have to believe it's was due to the time of year (very busy around the holidays) and low staff. The restaurant was very loud which made it difficult to talk, and the food delivery took well over an hour with some dishes spending way too much time sitting before being delivered. The filet and burgers were tasty (buns too big on burgers) but the other dishes suffered. Would advise sticking with the meats and coming on a week night or after the holidays. Service was very good and understanding.
