Pros-Nice, safe, well spaced, reasonably priced, great location to access the best of what Denver area has to offer. Beautiful park, and lots of activities within the facility to entertain! Cons- no shade, wind, Bandemere racing sounds. Don’t pass up this chance to camp at this location!

Loved this campground! It was my first camping experience. The grounds were very clean, lots of outdoor activities to do on site, and very quiet/ private. Only complaint is that we had to pay for showers ($1.75) and didn’t see that advertised on the website. Other than that, can’t complain!

Great campground for the whole family! Has 50amp hookup but not full hookups. On sight fill up of fresh water and a sewage dump that is free to use. Excellent location for day trips to Denver Zoo or shopping; just be prepared for the new attraction around town, Denver Traffic. Has showers and bathrooms that have soap and paper towels. Camp host on sight. If you reserve a spot it comes with your park pass. Also have great hiking, bike, horse trails. On sight horseback riding lessons, archery range, and lake to visit. We will definitely come again.

Try Cherry Creek or Turqoise Lake 🌲
It's $20 a night with an annual pass $25 a night without annual passes are around $60 there may be a discount for disabled. 14 nights maximum out of a 30-day As this is a city park not at State Park the nearest State Park is Chatfield State Park it runs about 5 to $10 extra per night both parks have both 30 amp and 50 amp. I live in my class A Motorhome full-time then I spend my winter in Las Vegas or Bullhead City where it's warmer weather. Too cold to be in Colorado during the winter months. ☮️ 🇺🇸 Since I posted this back in 2016 the price has gone up around $5 ; Today is 7-15-2018
You can call the park directly 3036976159 🏕
We believe we saw some conversion vans when we were there last year.
YES!! Has to be leashed or on cable run. Great trails to B C Lake and behind Morrison.
Nope, 30$ a night
Entry into the park is $10.
So close--definitely camp here if you're going to red rocks:) we did! Best decision ever<3
2 weeks out of 30 days.
If you have a yearly pass it costs 20 bucks a night for electric only. Without an annual pass, it's 25 dollars a night. There is a water fill station in the campground.
You'd be better off googling their phone number. I'm unsure of any email address.
No, 2 weeks out of 30, then 2 weeks again.
No monthly rate. Can only stay about 2 weeks. Without an annual pass cost is 25 dollars a day. With annual pass is 20 a day. Electric only. Use of dump station allowed if you're staying there.
The only thing in the yurt are bunks. Whatever your personal Creature Comforts are is the long list of what you will need to bring ⛺
The front gate is locked at 9pm, but they provide directions and a key code to enter through a back gate anytime after nine.
Thanks for that I don't do any of that, enjoy hiking and wanting to come see live music at red rocks thanks bunches
This is for camping it is not to live at. You can stay 14 days in a 45 day period.
Definite fire ban now. They have metal grills or you can use a gas stove. No open fires. 1st come 1st served, so reservations a good idea.
All sites are $25 unless you have an annual pass then the are $20
Vacations, more people buying RVS. Good fall weather, nice location, local events......
Call them i am sure they can change it if the date is available
I thought the showers were 24/7. Maintenance was done in am early.
Yes
All sites are the same..$25 without a seasonal pass.
When I stayed there last summer each campsite had its own firepit and the camp host sold firewood.
Not too far at all ☺️enjoy
Katrina is right. Can paddle board, kayak or boat. Also horses to rent I think. Great place to walk and bike.
I live in Grand Jct. and want to meet my brother who lives in Denver for a couple days of fishing and catch up. I have a 32 ft. 5th wheel trailer. Is it possible to have it there for 2 or 3 nights and what is the cost per night.
