I can't say I understand the 1-star reviews here. My personal experience has always been positive. Staff is friendly and capable. As an ex-Talent resident, now residing nearby, I often make the drive to the Talent Post Office just because of the small-town vibe.

The new Post Master is very encouraging to small businesses, and very knowledgeable about all things USPS. If anyone is currently taking their parcels to Phoenix or Ashland based upon past bad service, it's time to give your local Post Office another try.

You can go online and get an estimate or bring it in and get a price. But it is by weight and distance. Should not be too expensive just going to Washington.
