Truly wonderful neighborhood restaurant with great food and even better service. Everything here feels authentic from the food to the people and their management. You'll be delighted.

Great service, very resourceful (love the dinosaur separators for the tables and the recycled bottles for decoration.) It was very loud but that’s because you guys were really busy :) Oh and PS the side greens and all of our pasta dishes were quite tasty)

Stopped in after an Alton Brown book signing across the street. Book in hand, I asked for a seat and sat for an easy 10 minutes before approached by anyone. In the same time a pair of women were seated next to me, delivered water, drink orders, and a discussion of the menu. When I finally was served, I ordered orecchiette, which ended up being quite tasty, well spiced sausage with a decent sauce. Plate was dropped off, and that was the last I saw of my waiter until we’ll after I was done, stacked my plates in plain view, and waited some more. The bill came in a very timely fashion. Overall the food was good, but service was appalling. I don’t know if I smelled funny, looked too poor to afford a $20 plate of pasta, or what. The final insult ended up being charged for the wrong bill.

Just happened to find a killer parking space and decided to eat in the neighborhood. Oh joy. The octopus was perfectly cooked, nicely plated and super hot. I was on the fence about a main course and am grateful I chose the steak also …Thanks Diedtra - you ordered well for sure! interesting fact - the 'bowling shirt' design was a collaboration on our part to instill the sense that this is our workshop, and we love to come to work everyday! Thanks for noticing!

We are only permitted outdoor seating at the moment. All staff wear masks and gloves. All tables are 6 or more feet apart. Hand purifiers are stationed at the doors.
Hi Peter. Yes. We are doing The Feast of the Seven Fishes and selling tickets on Eventbrite. You can see details here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-feast-of-the-seven-fishes-christmas-eve-tickets-53203480041?aff=ebdssbdestsearch
Hi Suzanne, we use the Yelp powered "No Wait" app which will allow you to add your name to our waitlist (if there is one) as long as you are within 2 miles of the restaurant. The link is on our site. It does go off line once we get to more than a one hour wait. Best best is to be there by 5pm when we open or 8pm. Our big rush is between 5.30pm-7.30pm. With that said, we're not sure what to expect this post-Thanksgiving week. It could be a little slower!
Hi Robert, So we are a "meaning first come first serve" restaurant (meaning on reservations) BUT our waitlist is powered by Yelp's NO WAIT app. If you follow us on social media you can find the link. Essentially if we are on a waitlist, and you are within three miles of us, you can add your name/party and we text you five minutes before table is ready. Generally speaking, we are slammed between 6pm and 8pm so best bet to avoid an hour wait is to come at 5pm or 8pm! Thanks for inquiring. Carolyn
