I Order lamb tibs on Uber eat they call me & say they don’t have it ,I told them its okay make it beef tibs and the worst tibs I ever had I don’t recommend the place, ”I think they use laftover key wet to make me spicy beef tibs 🤦🏾‍♂️discussing”

Great food and great flavors. The chef even came out and asked how the food was. Wish they had more drink/juice choices but it didn’t affect the review at all. Would highly recommend!

Group of four having our first Ethiopian dining experience on a Saturday evening. Nice spring day and got a free parking spot right out front. We took one of their outdoor deck tables (not much to see other than a giant parking garage), and the water arrived instantly to give us paper menus (sorry apparently only took a picture of one side of the two) and took drink orders. He was very friendly, explained everything to us (nothing too exciting other than no utensils and eat using the bread), and checked in often to see what we needed. Drinks and food were quickly delivered (but no pressure to finish quickly). They had some local wine and bottles of Ethiopian beer. Food was beautifully presented, is more filling than you may initially expect (we had a container full of leftovers), great spices without being too heated, and a wide variety for communal sharing. We were all pleased and had a great dinner.

I really enjoy the Vegetarian Combo platter - it is my "go to" when ordering from here. I typically order take-away from Bete. Earlier this week, my family and I wanted to eat in-person at Bete. While they weren't set up to do outdoor dining, the cook/chef was very accommodating and kind, offering to set up outdoor setting just for us. We ended up ordering take-away instead (which was delicious), but I was really amazed at how kind and considerate the staff were there. I highly recommend eating at/from Bete!
