Positive: Convenient location. Free parking. Negative: Room wasn't well maintained. Telephone message light flashed throughout stay and front desk couldn't figure out how to turn it off. Shower shampoo dispenser was empty.

Interesting experience for a usually reliable Hampton Inn. We were "upgraded" to 201, a larger room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit is not up to the task of keeping the room cool...it's an unseasonably hot June. The hotel provided a box fan to get through the night. Not a good long-term plan. Moreover, the 2nd floor ice machine was not working. Had to go to the 3rd floor. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

This hotel was very clean, it was a very nice place to stay. Kat greeted us when we checked in, was very nice and very helpful. She suggested a place to eat about a mile away which was very good. Didn't check out the pool area but judging by the rest of the place, it would be great. Breakfast was hot, coffee was very good. Highly recommend this place.

Stay was terrible. First, we looked at the pool and it looked like a film over it. Disgusting! The staff said they cleaned it daily, but it looks like it hasn’t been touched in days! Then, we went up to our room and there was hair on the bedsheet. I hated seeing that. At nighttime, I went to go get a snack from the vending machine and 2 SNACKS GOT STUCK AT THE SAME TIME.. I don’t know if that’s ever happened before. And when we went to check out, the staff said “Oh we turned off the elevators for maintenance, and we didn’t know this was gonna happen”. but you just said that it was down for maintenance… Anyways I highly do not recommend.

I would wait for the a team on Monday and asked for sales. It sounds like you need the a team. Good luck!
Are you wondering if it's walking distance, or just wondering if it is the closest hotel to DelVal? The answers are no (it would be a long walk) and yes (closest to campus). If you are visiting the area without a car, DelVal is on the Septa regional rail line, so the train does expand your options for hotels. The train stops on campus.
