Though there aren’t a lot of vegan or vegetarian options they do have seafood if you a pescatarian! My picture doesn’t do it justice because yet again I started eating before I remembered but! all of the flavors as well as the presentation was on point. The only issue I had were that the veggie empanadas were a bit oily, on the plus side, the still maintained their crunch! I would come back in a heartbeat. This place also offers live music on some nights. The servers are attentive and as accommodating as they can be. English and Spanish speaking friendly.

A charming spot with adorable esthetic. The service was wonderful (sit, enjoy, take your time). Give their tasty cocktails a try. We couldn't make up our mind what we wanted to try for dinner so we went with the platter for two to get a little bit of everything. It was delicious!

This is my first time having Columbian food and I really enjoyed it. The establishment is small but cozy. The food was mighty tasty. I could see myself going back again to try out the rest of the menu

For the second year in a row, my boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at La Chiva Colombian Cuisine on S Broadway, Denver. When he found this restaurant last year, I was ecstatic because it's the first Colombian restaurant I've eaten at in Denver I felt reminded me of the home-cooked meals I enjoyed growing up (my dad is from Barranquilla and my abuela is one hell of a cook). Last night was our fourth time dining in at La Chiva, first time at their new location (which is bigger but still offers a cozy/warm atmosphere with quality service), and as always it lived up to our expectations. I ordered the tender and juicy guisado pollo, my boyfriend the bandeja montañera, and we started with both chicken jalapeño and classic beef empanadas. IMO, the empanadas and chimichurri are done correctly, which is hard to find here. We finished the night off with tres leches and flan. I've admittedly had better elsewhere, but it still hit the spot after a delicious meal. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

They recently started offering breakfast!
Well, do not return between fewer donkeys, more corncobs
Yes
Tables are well spaced and staff is wearing masks. QR code for menu. Everything felt safe
There is indoor seating, and we went at 5 on a Wednesday and got right in. I would recommend making reservations on the weekends.
