Turned down a job offer here. I was told that this federal facility did not observe the new federal holiday juneteenth. Because managment "didn't want to" . Was also told it would be ok to skirt the federal covid restrictions in place for federal facilities when hired. Typical white, male, boomer ran place. Stay far away.

Attending purely for badge acquisition for employment with a different agency. Staff are helpful and polite. A pleasant and speedy experience.

My Mom used to work here. They say they're D.O.E (Department of Energy) But we all know they make bomb shells. It's true!!

The lab is named after E. O. Lawrence, the inventor of the cyclotron particle accelerator. Lawrence Berkeley lab is also named for him. The Livermore part is the town in which the lab is located.
