Rooms were under renovation, we stayed in a newer room. Beds comfortable, breakfast was ok. Location was within driving distance to DC without paying a high price.

The rooms are remodeled and nice. The outside need to be renovated. The halls need attention too. They were working on it but it isn’t done. They had a big school crowd. It’s important to plan for this during breakfast time. We just left and went to get our own breakfast at Denny’s. But I would stay here again because the room was comfortable.

Newly renovated. Room size is traditionally the same. Bathroom is clean. Suggestions for the details: more hanging hooks/towel hangers for bathroom, light above full size mirror, light for service bar. Cushions and end tables for loveseat, a sitting chair at corner near window or a dresser. Right now the room is sparce and not comfortable nor practical. Only two small drawers at service table. Loveseat is hard and deep, need some cushions to soften it.

Great hotel. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast isnt terrible and everything is clean. However, at the time of my stay, they were demolishing the floor above my room and from 8 AM to 6 PM there was constant banging and drilling right above my room. Insanely loud. They offered me a new room but I had a lot of stuff and a cat and decided against it. I just wish they had thought not to put anyone in a room that was that loud.

No...if your staying at the Comfort, they will drop you off at the Metro. (By appointment only). But you can take the bus to the Metro. Then buy a city pass for Big Bus on Groupon. Then enjoy the ride all over DC.🤗
There swimming pool is not open
It depends on the type of reservation and when it is canceled. If it is a prepaid no cancel booking advance booking there is no refund if canceled. If you made a standard reservation you can usually cancel with no penalty up to the day before your arrival date. If you booked online through a 3rd party like Expedia/Booking.com etc. you will need to contact that vendor for details.
I stayed with my cats who were in the room the whole time. I didn't see or hear any pets.

There are no bus tours that pickup at the hotel. Options we suggest: 1. drive to Arlington Cemetery where you can park and take the "Tourmobile" which runs a loop into and around the major DC attractions and will bring you back to Arlingon. 2. Take our shuttle to the Ballston Metro Station and go to Union Station where many bus tours are available. 3.
