My stay at this Residence Inn wasn't great, but for better or worse was largely due to easily fixable issues. The hotel is located adjacent to two shopping centers, so there are a lot of dining options nearby, as well as malls, and major highways. The hotel and my room seemed very clean. I didn't get a chance to try out any amenities though. Big problem #1: the mattress was shot. Not a little hard, not a little old, but destroyed. When I sat on the side to get out of bed, it sank over a foot. Big problem #2: charging for parking at this location is gratuitous. $10/day. I understand and don't mind paying for parking in cities, but this was next to a shopping center. That is, had I not had an injured foot, I could have parked in the Olive Garden parking lot for free and walked an extra 30 seconds. This is purely a cash grab. If they're worried about space, then just hand out parking passes and only charge for a second vehicle per room. Minor Problem #3: on my second night, they placed a couple of teenagers in the room next to me who keep me up past 1am screaming and shouting. Most priorities I stay at have the common decency to book me, a single traveler, in a quiet location. On the other hand, had the mattress not been terrible, it's likely I would've still been able to fall asleep. Fortunately I stayed with points and didn't waste money (other than the parking) on this stay, or I would've been more disappointed. If you're out of other options, this is better than nothing, but that's about it.

We loved everything about this hotel. Good location for our plans. Quiet. Nice large room. Great kitchen area. Plus a very comfortable seating area.

Checked in at 9:30pm after a 4 hour drive. Tyler was the most friendly and respectful hotel employee I have ever encountered. He made my crankiness disappear cause of his demeanor and kindness. Someone at Marriott corporate should really hire Tyler to train staff. I'm a Hyatt elite but if all Marriott employees were like Tyler, I'd never stay at another chain. The rooms were old and needed some updating. But still giving this review 5 stars because of Tyler.

Very well cleaned and maintained room and grounds. Staff were really friendly. The free breakfast was great - lots of tasty options both hot and cold. I appreciate it being pet friendly! The only downside is the craziness of no left turns in most of the immediate area, which naturally the hotel has no control over.
