Short and to the point: this is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the country, not just SF. I was tracking this spot from the East coast to make sure it would reopen after the height of the crisis - it's that good. The pasta dishes are to die for, and the meat dishes are solid. Great, comfortable vibe, and impressive and dependable service. So happy to see Contadina back in action and successful.

Requires reservation and worth the wait. I got the eggplant dish and it was really delicious. Definitely make sure to ask for no cheese if you are lactose-intolerant, I made that mistake. Great water service, we never went thirsty, but we were bloated, so be careful with drinking your water moderately. They are quick to refill your glass. Dessert was marvelous, loved the gelato. I visited during my birthday, will definitely visit again.

Really enjoyed the cozy ambiance and amazing staff (Jesus was awesome) . Food was great too! Started with a negroni. Tried prosciutto appetizer and meatballs. All great. Tried three dishes. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing! It was the best dinner we had during our week long trip to San Francisco. The meatball appetizer was great; I typically don’t love meatballs but theirs was excellent. Both our pasta dishes were so full of flavor. Will definitely be back!

We do have gluten free options. We have gluten free pasta upon request and also highly recommend the risotto.
Yes, corkage is $25 a bottle with a limit of 2 bottles per reservation.
