Vegetables have been fresh and prices are significantly better than Safeway or any other large grocery store. Fruit is just okay here

Excellent mexican grocery store, with great selection of mexican and non-mexican goods. A bit pricey but that's SF for you.

Honestly my favorite place to go grocery shopping, I will ride the bus just to shop here even though there are other stores closer to my apartment. They have a great selection of fresh and frozen goods from different brands.

If you live near Casa Lucas market you'll know that they have alot of produce that is cheaper than Safeway's and allot of Hispanic products. For milk and eggs I also go to FoodsCo on Folsom.
