Emily's helped design every aspect of our kitchen from kitchen cabinets to countertops, backsplash, flooring, and accessories. Their design process is really thorough detailing all of the products, finishes, and supplying everything we needed to finish our remodel. We love our new space and highly recommend Emily's to friends and neighbors.

After having a bad experience at a previous designer, we did a lot of searching for a different kitchen designer on our current home. Emily's was local and our neighbor recommended them to us. We had our first meeting at their design showroom to just feel out their process and see what they had to say, and you could tell instantly their level of knowledge about design, and remodeling was a lot different than what we previously experienced. We ended up choosing Medallion cabinetry which I had heard of before, but never saw in person. We are pleased with the look and function of our new kitchen and highly recommend Emily's to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen.

Emily's is very different than what you might expect from your typical kitchen company. The level of detail and care they put into their projects cannot be found elsewhere. Having all the project details figured out at the beginning was really helpful to get our renovated home back to normal again. Many options to choose from cabinets to flooring to countertops. Very happy with our selections also. Check them out.

We had 3d designs created that really help us see our kitchen addition come to life. Seeing the added space and laying out cabinet options was a huge plus for us. Choosing the finishes for the countertops and flooring at their showroom was actually enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Questions & Answers

What do you sell besides cabinetry?

In addition to cabinetry, we sell prefinished hardwood flooring, vinyl flooring, and cabinet hardware. We can also help out with selections through our preferred vendors for tile, stone, plumbing fixtures, appliances, etc.

I’m a homeowner looking to re-do my kitchen. I know you sell kitchen cabinetry along with design services related to the cabinetry, can you please tell me a little more about your process and how it sets you apart from other companies?

We always take the time to design the entire space where the cabinets will be installed in 3D. With our 3D design software, we can accurately show what the room will look like once the cabinetry is installed, complete with your existing décor, colors, and finishes. We also take the time to draw out all of the cabinetry schematically, with our detailed cabinetry engineering drawings. These drawings really get into every single detail of every cabinet, and are invaluable to the installers that are putting everything in place. We try to answer all of the potential questions during the design process so that it minimizes questions or issues during the installation.

Do I need to hire a licensed architect for my remodel?

In most cases, no. At Emily’s interiors, we can self-perform the drawings needed to complete many remodeling projects, big or small. We have the capability in house to do any and all drawings required for additions, new construction, and renovations including kitchen, bath, and basement remodeling projects. That’s not to say we aren’t open to collaborating with architects if needed, we have been a part of many successful collaborations with local architects on projects as well. The best advice I can give is to meet with the builder first, to decide whether bringing an architect on board will be necessary for your particular project.
