It is a nice quiet place along the Hopkinton-Medway bike trail, a bit or off the way where one can rest peacefully and have a snack at a table in a pleasant environment. No food is served, no toilets, and no garbage bins, just a quiet garden with a stone table and chairs.

Questions & Answers

what are the legal ramifications of working in a water department without one

The only people required by the state to hold a license are the primary and secondary operator. Distribution and treatment are counted separately. The primary must hold a full status license equal or greater than the classification of the system. The secondary must hold a license that is at least one step below the classification of the system, and it can be OIT. All other water department employees are not required to have a license, but it is encouraged. As far as the ramifications for not having one while in a position that does require it, I am not sure. I would guess it would be a fine for the municipality. It is probably covered in 310 cmr 22, the state regulations for our industry. You can also reach out to your regional DEP office, they would likely have an answer.

Apply for the class ,funds for class and work at h20 department or have college creds dont need ct's unless you already have a water license t1 2 3 4??? Not sure what it takes for NH

With all of our advanced technology and know how why is it that all our municipal water supplies still have so much residual chlorine that you can taste it? We all know it isn't good for your health. I guess it is just too expensive to dechlorinate?

Not really get yourself an in home filtration system or buy a britta or one of those that hook right to the faucet we have to have post disinfection too many old pipes with who knows what that could possibly contaminate the system😉
