The Nursing staff & Therapy Staff are friendly & Extremly helpful. Out of all 4 Nursing homes I've been in you come in 1st.except for for food quality. That goes to to #2 The The.One in Scituate now closed.

Staff has stolen belongings twice. Also haven’t felt comfortable having my dad here since he got sick twice I feel he isn’t being adequately watched or taken care of to the best of the ability he should be. Staff has also been slow to get back to me on these issues.

My mom was a resident at Charlwell House from Nov. 2016 up until the time she passed, Feb. 2017. She had terminal cancer 😢 If you're looking for a modern facility, Charlwell isn't it. But if you're looking for a facility that has the best care by the most caring/loving staff, and a clean facility, Charlwell is the place. The staff are angels. It gave me and my extremely large family peace of mind knowing that our precious mom was in such good hands. I'm getting emotional as I write this because I will always have a special place in my heart for Charlwell. I will always be indebted to them for taking such wonderful care of my beautiful mom, my best friend. Thank you

Thank you, @seelyb4 for your feedback! We will be sure to share this with our staff and team. Charlwell House is a lovely facility. You walk in the doors and instantly feel comfortable. It has a nice homey feel and I could definitely see my loved one happy there. The staff all seemed pleasant, I was greeted with smiles by everyone. The Admissions Director and the Director of Nurses took the time to show me around. The rooms are mostly semi private, the dining area was large and set up formally. I was able to meet with the rehab team as well, they had a good sized gym, and all seemed very knowledgeable. They showed me their new equipment which seemed very high tech. They were very clean, there was no odor when entering, the hallways were clear, and they have beautiful wood floors on each unit!!
