Stopped here after my stay at Virgin Valley campground and purchased the trip tip steak breakfast which was amazing, the breakfast burrito looked large. Tiara and her cohorts are friendly, and she wants to expand the restaurant into a mini mart. Unfortunately Tiara doesn't have her liquor and tobacco license yet, so it may be a few months until the bar opens back up. Fortunately there is a nice bar up the road and they sell various beers, Camels, and American Spirits. Gas was $7.50ish when I rolled through, but there is no others gas around for at least 100+ miles, so it is what it is. I didn't stay at the motel, but it seemed quaint and quiet. My favorite part was the mini library box out front to help educate travelers. You don't go through Denio Junction in a rush, stop and think about life a bit, and be sure to get some food cooked with love, then go opal mining.

This is a great stop on the way. It's got a real artsy feel and the people running it are fantastic humans. You're going to have to get gas soon anyway might as well fill up here and get some of their great food and some magnets! These people are great! Highly recommend!

Great new owners. Nice small grocery items. Rooms were $102/ night included breakfast platter or burrito, canned soda, bottles water AND ice. Too good to last but get it while you can. Rooms and mattresses are old but clean. New exterior paint and a great site when your in the middle of no where. Gas and diesel available. Super cool, old school motel. Be and wine license coming and near to Diamond Inn and Saloon where the locals hang out.

Great place to stay and eat! Stayed here for two weeks for work. Rooms are clean and cozy. Restaurant has some of the best food in rural Nevada and the chef is always trying new menu items. The burger and tri tip sandwich are great, but if you’re lucky you’ll come through on Taco Tuesday! Biggest plus for me is you can tell the owners really care about the business they’re building here and they go out of their way for guests and customers. Also close to dark sky, rock hounding, and hot springs if you’ve got time to hang out.
