Move-in process was simple and easy especially with elevators. Maintenance is awesome and fast. I had my blinds replaced and they were able to do it within 2 days of my request and it only took 20 minutes.

Stephanie and Mitch were so nice and super easy to work with. Application and touring process was seamless and quick. Appreciated the fact that they both were very accommodating, helpful and kind. Already loved the location and how kept the grounds were, but you both just made the experience so much better. Thanks again!

My wife and I stayed at Avalon Denver West for 6 months and it was amazing. What a great location. Our friend Stephanie helped us so much and really made the move in and out so easy. There is a great trail behind the apartment complex that has the most stunning views of the city. I strongly suggest renting a place here. You're extremely close to locally owned restaurants on Youngfield st and a wholefoods by the mall. Both within 2 miles distance. Also really close to I-70, 6th street hwy and 470.

Love the property, hate the management I lived here for 3 years and loved it - great amenities, beautiful apartments, trails to the South Table Mountain foothills from the parking lot, walking distance to the local mall (Colorado Mills), even a small park adjacent to the complex. But I had a terrible move-out experience and I sincerely hope this warning helps whoever reads this. I have never lost a cent on a security deposit until AvalonBay. My roommate and I cleaned every inch of our apartment for 20 hours, and it was sparkling when we left. Avalon will offer you a $150 move-out all-inclusive cleaning deal when you go, and I can't emphasize enough that you should take it. Our security deposit was $200, and we scrubbed the apartment to get that money back instead of voluntarily forfeiting $150. I was told apartments couldn't charge you more than your security deposit, and besides, we had bought our own cleaning supplies and made sure it was spotless. But apparently AvalonBay does whatever it wants. They charged us $350, keeping the entire security deposit, exclusively for carpet cleaning and maid service - services they're supposed to pay for. What's even better is that their invoice for the carpet cleaning said it was to remove pet damages when no pet had ever set paw in our apartment. They'll tell you deep cleaning carpets between tenants, repainting the walls, and any other work they want to do will be on your dime and don't count as standard wear and tear. Even after an appeal and calling their Customer "Care" Center, they decided to keep the entire security deposit and reiterated that we owe them an additional $150 or it'll go to a collection agency. Rent here at your own risk, but I hope you can gain anything from the time and money that we lost.
