I cannot say enough GREAT things about EFAA. I have had to reach out to them for some truly tragic unforeseen circumstances. I came from a very traumatic childhood and have no family support so when things have happened in my life, I've always had to "figure it out". When the pandemic hit, and I needed rental assistance for a couple months-they stepped in. When I had no insurance and needed to get glasses-they stepped in. When I just wasn't sure how I was going to get healthy food while I was in transition-they stepped in. Walter O'Toole & Beverly with the Food Bank & Cici in the social care program have been so kind, thoughtful, & patient with getting my needs met. For families, such as myself, they sometimes offer incredible whole food plant based items such as spring mixes, microgreens, soups & pudding. They always have milk alternatives and are really gracious. Walter has really been a great help to me with all my emails. We all stumble sometimes. Sometimes we can't help it, and sometimes we can. But you should not be ashamed to raise your hand and say, "Hey, I need a little help." That's why I'm writing this review to give EFAA & their workers the credit they deserve. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

I was given false hope. They completely lied to me. I called a few weeks ago to request help for myself and my four children under the ages of 5. I mentioned to them that I was homeless due to domestic violence. I was assured they could …

Yes, sometimes. Call ahead for an appointment and if we have the funds at the time and you qualify, EFAA can help.
Hi Sue, grab-and-go food bags are available for pick-up at EFAA's food bank during the following times: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:30 to 4:30 and Thursday from 2 to 6.
Fax is a bad idea. You should hand deliver any pertinent paperwork
We serve families, seniors, and people with disabilities living in Boulder County, Colorado. If you are out of EFAA's service area, try dialing 211 to be connected to local resources near you.
You will have to go see them and talk to a casemanager if you need rental assistance in the future. Best of luck to you.
