Very friendly and helpful. Came here for my biometrics appointment and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Everyone was super nice and it was a very pleasant experience.

Went there for Biometrics appointment for by Mom. Not a bad drive from Westborough, MA, reached early. Quick appointment, got done in 30 mins.

I was not impressed. I transported a friend for biometrics. Although having limited English reading skills, I was not allowed to help my friend. While in the Center, another non English speaker was not responding well to questions and my friend explained to that person and the interviewer that there was a language barrier: The interviewer said "Not my problem." Why is there only English language publications available in a government institution that is welcoming immigrants who wish for citizenship?

USCIS told me to make an appointment here, as my green card has not come, and my passport IV expired March 24. I was told to come here to get an extension. The person I met with said "we don't handle green cards here". He also said "you aren't legal to work here". "Call the 800 number". Called them again on the hour drive home. They were surprised, and stated this office should have been able to help. My I-551 is valid until November 2019. I am extremely frustrated, and this person I met with was a joke. I tried to explain the direness of the situation, and he honestly didn't give a hoot. (FYI - immigration says I am legal to work here....how can people looking at the same file come to opposite conclusions?)

I think you should try to contact to the USCIS and explain about your situation and ask for them to reschedule your appointment. But advise you make it really quick before time becomes unavailable to reschedule. And I hope everything end well for you and your mother.
Unfortunately, no one is allowed to go inside (except the people getting their certificates). You can do what most people do, wait outside and have family pictures taken outside the building.
This might be late. There will be no problem for your wife visiting Poland for 3weeks For expired greencard, as long as the holder has an extension letter showing they already applied for renewal or they can get a stamp in their passport at the USCIS office to show they are a PR holder
That expired too. I was adopted in 1996 and the original passport is from the country of origin, and expired
Call them.
The Bedford USCIS will officially reopen Monday 7/27 (I confirmed this after speaking to a wonderful USCIS employee, Venisa, tonight & she was so nice & friendly!)
They'll officially reopen Mon.7/27!
For adjustment of status, You'll need the USCIS forms applicable to your case and Evidences of a bonafide marriage/relationship, copy of your 1-94, passport data page, tax documents, employment letter, ID of your US citizen spouse etc. Check this USCIS website https://www.uscis.gov/greencard/fiancees
Sibling petitions takes an average of 10 to 15 years. For some countries like Mexico, China, India, it can take even longer (around 20-25 years)
You do not renew PR card at the field office. You mail documents out to the USCIS Dropbox or apply online Check out this USCIS link https://my.uscis.gov/exploremyoptions/renew_green_card#benefit-related-content-2
USCIS location where you case Is being reviewed will send you the interview letter for when you'll go to the field office. I do not think field offices schedule the interview, they conduct them.
The USCIS website has the form N-400 with its instructions for that purpose.
That is a policy question that has to be answered by an employee of the USCIS.
Where are you? Where is your wife? You only want her to come for a visit
I filled out the application on line and filed immediately after. Then just wait and you will get appointments in mail
It should explain on the application. I believe its "a permanent resident of 20 yearsor more; or an individual 55 and older"
There is, but they don't like to advertise.
I believe, you can go there and ask the clerk for the most updated form, they will give it to you to take with you. I believe You can also file online, however if it's too difficult, you can obtains the paper version from the office.
I believe, you can apply for citizenship, without renewing the green card, however that's totally up to the person applying, they could also go to the nearst USCIS office and ask if they have any questions.
