The staff is very indirect, disrespectful, and unhelpful. I will pay the office a visit and hope they do not have that same energy! A place of business involving one’s family sheltering should’ve been staffed with generous and helpful human beings. People don’t deserve to be talked to in such manner!

What the point of working there if you not completely compassionate of what you do ? no wonder they treat people rude ... Especially during this time of Covid .. it’s sickening I have until February 5 2021 since I got the voucher on the 10/8/2020 they’ll give 120 days ... still ain’t find a decent home .. or some places on social serve have waiting list or don’t take section 8 !! Something ain’t right!!! Where is common ground??

Staff is horrible. Impossible to get a hold of and when you do they do not give you complete information and waste your time going and coming from their office which is located in a very sketchy area.

The register of deeds in the bb&t building downtown can give you more than one type of birth certificate..there is a version of your certificate that is uncertified or unofficial but still suitable for some business. Make sure you ask when you let them know why you need it

There is a waiting list which is currently close. Unsure as to when it will reopen again.
