About 5 weeks ago I have a water leak that damaged my carpet, vanity and also caused a part of my ceiling to collapse. My insurance company offered me full service with 911 Restoration of Kenilworth. The work has been completed - ceiling replaced, carpet replaced throughout the house and new bathroom vanity. All this work was done quickly in only 5 days. I consider myself lucky that this is the company that Allstate contracted for my repairs. From the first call , they were very responsive and understanding of my needs as the homeowner. From the crew that tour down my ceiling and ripped up carpet to the team that just finished the work today, I have been very pleased each day. Damien, my project manager listened and answered my questions in a timely way and then each crew that came to work were pleasant and most capable as they completed each portion of the work. My house is now back in order and I couldn’t be happier. I’m so glad they were there when I needed them. Thank you. Nancy McElwee North Wales, PA

TLDR - Run, don't walk from this company. Details - We had water damage from an incident. Allstate had them as their "recommended remediator". They promptly came to deal with the water and having everything dry out. There were zero issues with this part of the work. Once it came time to actually repair everything that was damaged everything went downhill. The first sign I should have seen was when I asked for a written plan of how everything was going to be repaired all I got was a vague invoice. I did from this point forward ensure everything I did with them was by email so there was a record of everything. We went through 3 project leads - The entire organization was dysfunctional from this respect and whenever you asked one of the workers about something they had no clue and would refer you back to the lead who was almost never actually at the house. They were supposed to move a bunch of furniture to storage and were paid to do so by Allstate. At the onset of the work we were told they never were told to do this and hadn't agreed to it. Meanwhile I pulled up an email from them actually detailing out this step and all of a sudden they were dumbfounded. During demo they damaged 3 walls with holes that were not damaged previously. They removed doors that never needed to be removed which permanently damaged one of them. They broke a lighting fixture and repaired it with different pieces without even consulting us. They argued against work being done. When we discussed it with Allstate we were told they have no idea why 911 would be trying to talk us out of work that would get them paid more. The work was approved promptly when I emailed over pictures of the issues. They incorrectly installed acoustic ceiling tiles then blew us off for months to fix it. I'll circle back to this last one towards the end. At the end of the job they were supposed to clean up all the mess they had made. They only did the visible areas. Once we climbed on a step ladder to look at things we found all kinds of debris. Their paint ended up peeling less than a year after the work was completed. During the job we were placed in a hotel as the house wasn't very livable. We stopped by periodically after work to see the progress. About midway through we found the toilet in our bathroom covered in feces and toilet paper also covered in feces in our waste basket. Regarding the circling back. When they were installing the ceiling tiles I pointed out to the worker that he was stapling the tiles up and the boxes they ordered of tiles specifically said to use adhesive or tracking. I was told they "always" install the tiles like this with no problems. About 6 months later the tiles started sagging. We escalated this with 911 and were bounced around with Chris Sutherland, Gerrie Smith, and Marlene regarding how this would be rectified. They had someone drive 1.5 hours to our house which we thought was supposed to be to fix the issue. I took off from work to ensure everything would be good for him. He took a couple pictures and left. Then we were ignored and blown off repeatedly. We ended up getting so annoyed we went back to Allstate and complained with all the written communication and pictures of issues. They finally approved us to have everything rectified by a competent contractor. Again to emphasize. I think this company tries to churn out as many jobs as possible with the cheapest material possible. If you're being forced to use them by an insurance company document and photograph everything. Ask a ton of questions. Don't make the same mistake I did and have them write out a detailed plan from the beginning to complete the work. If you're not being forced to use them then go with someone who is more expensive. It'll most likely be worth it in the long run.

I don’t write reviews often but when a company exceeds my expectations, they deserve positive feedback. I own a childcare center and had a flood when a pipe broke. Josh was assigned to oversee the repairs and did an outstanding job. He was extremely sensitive to our needs as a childcare center and made sure our business operations were not impacted while the repairs were being completed. They were efficient and the work was impeccable. I highly recommend Josh and this company if your ever in need of their services. Thanks Josh a big thumbs up 👍
