I have very fond memories from this place from decades ago and had to come back for a beautiful ride. I've always loved how down-to-earth and comfortable Ridge Valley Stables is. Never been a "show horse" kind of girl. Scruffy and happy is fine by me. Horses were perfect. Scenery was just as lovely as I remember-- lots of wildlife, too. Becky took great care of us, welcoming us, even helping to retrieve my wallet that had fallen out. I tipped her, of course. Wonderful to see Terry still around. Hope it lasts another 50 years!

Had an awesome trail ride on a beautiful mare! Just me an Becky(trail guide) had a great ride together! I will definitely be going back! I suggest doing at least a little bit of research about riding horses before you go on any trail rides! They have brains it’s not like riding a four-wheeler through the woods so having respect for the horse is really important! ❤️

My wife and I were visiting Boston for a few days and Ridge Valley was kind enough to fit us in only hours before a trail ride without a reservation. The guides were knowledgeable about every single horses capabilities, personalities, ability, and with the terrain. They were professional and courteous. Well worth the hour drive. Highly recommend anyone in the area to take the trip

Excellent entertainment for kids, we had one hour booked for a birthday party. The owner accommodated last minute request, and kids loved the experience of riding, brushing and feeding the animals. All went smoothly and was definitely "the best birthday party ever", in my daughter's words.
