I almost never leave a negative review myself or have a negative experience at such a place. But I am blown away! After not even being notified that my belongings were even finished being sorted through and sitting there for over 20 minutes longer to my wasted 35 minute trip there and back home. I brought clothing NEW. Under armour that I actually just purchased off the shelf a few weeks ago. Rompers. Leggings. New condition name brand in style pieces compared to what I sorted through on the shelves that was wrinkled, out of date, over priced, and just I'm speechless. I feel like a fool. I feel embarrassed. I won't return. I lost my job 2 weeks ago and just thought this could help. No. Thanks.

This store is a joke. I brought in brand new vans and other pairs of shoes and clothes in good condition and was only offered $26 for three pairs of shoes and a shirt. And not to mention i was waiting forever and they never texted me telling me my stuff was ready smh. They really are ripping people off.

Today I had one of my best selling experiences at Plato’s closet. I’ll admit in the past interactions weren’t the best but the level of customer service I received today was absolutely unmatched. Not only did they have a bomb selection but I came to sell clothes had four bags and the staff help me put it in my car which has never happened before. The staff was so friendly helpful and appreciated the things that I brought and for the things that they weren’t excepting I completely understand because it’s not in season and as a business they need to look out for what will sell best. Thank you to the Greenville team for helping me out today!

Just from a "being able to breathe and shop" perspective... they sprayed waaaaaaay too much perfume in the air in that store. Hits you like a brick wall when you enter. Awful. Both me and my friend were overwhelmed by it. So we didn't stay long. It's like a guy who doesn't know how much cologne is too much, so he wears the whole bottle and gags people who are near him. I guess some people, who don't have the heart to tell him the truth, might tell him it smells good, but what he really needs is someone to just be honest and tell him it's too strong.

Thank you for contacting us. Once Upon a child is our sister store you can take your baby clothes. They are located off of Woodruff Rd besides staples. We are a teen casual store and can look through your clothes. They will be need to freshly laundered, folded, and placed in some type structured container. We not accept plastic or trash bags. You will need your drivers license or passport to check in. It is a same Day process. We open at 10 Monday- Sat and 11 on Sundays. Thank you. Plato’s management

I've never seen anything like that in Plato's closet. They just have regular, casual clothes. You could call and ask. You can sell wedding dresses on Poshmark. You would get more money selling something like that on Poshmark anyway.
They do but pricing depends on the condition and style so it varies.
